Requirements: Programming course. Synopsis: Interactive systems pervade our life in mobile, desktop and embedded applications. The course will give an overview of interaction paradigms: from desktop, to mobile, and to ubiquitous computing. Interaction techniques will be introduced for multi-modal, adaptive, social, and affective computing. Established development approaches and tools will be presented including user modeling, interaction design, and interaction prototyping platforms. The course will give opportunity to students to develop a state-of-the-art interactive system on one of the topics of the course. Course book: J. A. Jacko, A. Yleistä

Requirements: This is an advanced Human-Computer Interaction course. Having taken the HCI course is not mandatory, but strongly advisable. If you have not, please contact the teacher. This is also a programming course. In order to pass the course students will have to attend 80% of the lectures. Grading will be based on assignments and team project.
