Are you interested in building rapid prototypes? At the SomeJam -event you"ll learn service design and using a design-based approach to building software creatively. The event lasts for 48 hours. You will be working in teams to research, experiment and prototype web-based service solutions for young people. Besides programmers, the event targets anyone that is interested, including youth workers.

SomeJam

Are you interested in building rapid app prototypes? At the SomeJam -event you’ll learn service design and using a design-based approach to building software creatively. At the same time you’ll get experience in coaching a team of young innovators during a weekend. This is a very good addition to your CV!

1. If you haven’t already done so, enroll yourself as a “participiant” at:

2. Expect fun! You’ll get to meet new people and explore their world. Expect also hard work. Making a working prototype really fast is not easy. However, we provide you with the best of help we can!
 

3. Register and attend the “Rapid prototyping for web & mobile”-event in Exactum. This is REQUIRED for passing the course.

The event lasts for 48 hours. You will be working in teams to research, experiment and prototype new web-based services for young people. Besides programmers, the event targets young people and also youth workers. The place is very cosy. Food is available. However, we have no idea what’s being installed on those computers so if possible, bring your own laptop with the development environment you prefer.
 

Requirements for the study credits:

1 cr Participating in the required events, presenting your work at course wrap-up. Writing a blog post on your experience in CS App Ideas blog
2 cr Participating in the event. Writing a blog post. Presenting a working software prototype and a related Github-repository under open source license of your choise.
