The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF, www.ietf.org) is the main standardization entity in the area of Internet standardization. Its mission is ¿to make the Internet work better by producing high quality, relevant technical documents that influence the way people design, use, and manage the Internet.¿. In this seminar, we will look at how the IETF works, the processes behind Internet standards, and take a closer look at current activities in IETF.
