The Inaugural lecture Using Measurement as Enabler for Software-based Innovations: State of the Art and New Challenges for Software Measurement by Jurgen Munch takes place in Linus Torvalds auditorium Monday 29.8  2pm.  

An inaugural lecture is a lecture given by a new professor as part of the formal appointment process. Although this specific lecture is taking place outside the festive inauguration day, we expect many of the same elements be present at this event although we do not follow the dress code and other procedures to that degree.
