When completing the contract with the department the key application will be filled to define which keys new employees will need (usually the access control key to the front door (magnetic key) and the key to their office). You will need the access control key to enter the building after opening hours.
The Amanuensis Teija Kujala will fill in the key application and deliver it to the porters for further processing. You will receive the key(s) within a few days from the porters, who will ask you to sign for it. Please be prepared to prove your identity.
The keys will be valid as long as your employment contract is valid. If a fixed-term employment is extended (with another fixed term) at the end of the first term, or there are other extenuating circumstances (such as checking exams), the amanuensis will extend the validity of the access-control key automatically. It takes a couple of weekdays to revalidate the keys. When the employment ends, please return your keys to the porters in Exactum. The keys are each employee's personal responsibility.

The porter will come and open your office door for you if you can prove your identity with a staff card with photo or a staff card without photo and an ID card with photo (e.g. driving license etc).
Disappearance of a company key
Notify the Security control 09-191 44400 immediately if you lose your key or access control key. University Security control is open during workdays from 9.00 am to 15.00 pm.
If you lose your key outside office hours notify the Security control 09-191 44400 first thing the next workday morning.
You must also inform your superior and the person in charge of keys in your building (usually the porter) of the lost key.
