Remote connections are allowed on servers melkki.cs.helsinki.fi, melkinpaasi.cs.helsinki.fi and melkinkari.cs.helsinki.fi.

Login with your CS Department username and password.

Transfer files to/from the server in Linux / Unix enviroment using scp or sftp programs.

For Windows you can download free clients: Putty for ssh terminal sessions and WinSCP for file transfer.

Ssh connection is terminated with the command logout or exit.
