The 10-credit course in pedagogy is aimed at teachers and other personnel with teaching duties at the University of Helsinki. Applications can be made during 1-31 March 2012.

The aim of the course is to develop university teachers’ understanding of the principles of learning and instruction in higher education. The course has 7 contact days during the autumn semester. Preference is given to those who have the heaviest teaching duties and no previous pedagogical studies. Please read more about the content and schedule at our web-site below.

The University Pedagogy I course includes the following study modules:
YP1 Teaching and learning in higher education (5 ECTS) and
YP 2 Constructive alignment in course design (5 ECTS)

Contact sessions: 13 and 14 September; 8 and 24 October; 12, 29 and 30 November. These are full days from 9.30 am until 4 pm.
