This meeting is intended for all staff and students of the department.
Programme:

1) Current topics of the Department / Esko Ukkonen

• The department strategy and operational programme for 2013-2016

2) Current topics of teaching / Jaakko Kurhila (ATTN! For students as well)

• Course feedback: after one year with the renewed course feedback system, a review of all feedback (in Finnish for BSc courses; in English for MSc courses)
• New degree requirements for the BSc degree: Should I switch to them? (in Finnish as changes are not relevant for MSc students)
• Degree language explicitly stated in MSc degree certificate: options for students (in Finnish as all international students receive their degree certificate in English)

According to Section 18 of the university’s regulations,

“For each department, faculty without departments, separate institute,
and other administrative unit, a meeting for the whole staff and all
students must be organised at least once a term at the invite of the
director of the unit. The meeting will discuss shared development projects,
plan future actions, and inform about current affairs at the university.”
