Department of Computer Science is organizing a Winter Sport Day for all of its staff members in Paloheinä at Friday 1.3.2013 afternoon. We will start at Paloheinä a bit before 1 PM. There will be either a bus transfer from Kumpula or we will use public transportation from Kumpula to Paloheinä before that.

The winter outing gives you an opportunity to try downhll sledging, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. You can also go skating or playing on ice, if it still exists. Or you can just select to just go walking outdoors.

For skiing and snowshoeing we recommend own equipment, but there is also possibility to borrow those.

It is also possible to borrow plastic sledges (pulkka in Finnish).

Later, some of us might also spend the evening together in a restaurant or bar at their own expenses.
