New video conferencing room in Exactum A114

The IT Centre’s new video conference room is now open in Kumpula. It is located on the ground floor in Exactum (A114) and is outfitted with Cisco FullHD video conference equipment C20. The old video conference room in Physicum (D204) has been converted for other purposes.

The FullHD equipment represents state-of-the-art technology with its 52” screen, FullHD video of participants, and a second 52” full quality transmission from, e.g., a PC desktop.
The equipment has been selected for ease of use, and one single remote control is needed to manage all of the hardware.

Support is available in the room for any arrangements necessary, and you can also conduct teleconferences using other technologies there (Adobe Connect Pro, Skype, etc.), as well as phone conferences.

The room is intended primarily for video conferences, but it can be used for other activities, as well. University staff can use the video conference facilities free of charge.
