Annual holiday plan's should be made by 11 May 2012

Annual holiday plan (by the 11.5.2012)

Holiday schedules for the holiday season 1 June-30 September 2012 should be
made as soon as possible, and you must reach an agreement on your schedule
with your supervisor. Please send Pauliina Pajunen in the administration
office an email listing your days off that your supervisor has confirmed,
on 11 May at the latest. After that, the head of the department will
confirm the holidays.

Annual holidays must be timed so that the largest part of the holiday is
held during the holiday season 1 June-30 September 2012.
There must always be a period of at least ten consecutive weekdays of
annual holiday, and employees who are entitled to 10 days at the most must
take the whole holiday in one block.

Holidays taken outside the holiday season (1 October 2012-31 May 2013)
should be timed so that they do not all coincide in the spring of 2013, so
that the unit's work is disrupted.

Part-time employees should primarily take their holidays as full calendar
weeks. (A part-time employee who works 3 days a week, for example, uses up
5 days off for one week's holiday.)

Changes to holiday schedules

If changes appear to the holiday plans confirmed by 15 May 2011, you must
notify the department with an absence notification, which must be signed by
your supervisor and handed to Pauliina Pajunen, who will update the HR
systems.
