The networking and services line organized the traditional NODES get together seminar on 26.4.2012.  Over thirty people participated to the event. We heard about the recent research activities of PhD students and seniors, and discussed about the integration of teaching and research activities. Central themes included the planning of exercises and assignments in the new NODES laboratory, collaboration across research groups, and how to best support information sharing and collaboration. Among the best ideas was the “network lunch” proposal. The network lunch is a talk event held periodically with free pizza for the participants. Typically the talks are about recent research activities and they are given by MSc and PhD students. This is now being planned for the Fall term. Many thanks to the participants!
