The libraries in Viikki and Kumpula have shortened opening hours during summer, but if you have your ways downtown, you can return books to the main library's returns hutch.

The returns hutch is located on the left of  the Fabianinkatu-side main entrance of the main library, and during the summer, it is open at 17.45-10.15 on weekdays, and on weekends.

You can open the hutch with your Helka card, and it can receive normal-sized books from the University of Helsinki libraries. The books will be registered as returned on the following opening day.
