The publications of Genome-scale algorithmics research group were selected to the top 10 of  Bioinformatics Contributions 2013. The goal of the selections was stated as " to find elegant papers and methods, which are currently under-appreciated, but will have major impact in the future (in the opinion of judges)." The research group thanks for the recognition, and is now even more motivated to produce good results also in 2014.
