Summer jobs in IT research institutions (deadline February 20th 2014)

Summer jobs in computer science research are waiting for students. Several salaried research assistant positions are available in a range of research projects.

There are jobs available for computer science and information technology students. In some projects there are also jobs available for students of mathematics, literature, language technology, general linguistics, geophysics, or seismology.

The research assistants are needed from May to September. Contracts can also be made for a shorter period.

Jobs are available at:

Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT

University of Helsinki, Department of Computer Science

Successful applicants are required to have Bachelor’s degree or gained around 150 credits from their studies – on the Bachelor level - to be interested in research work and to be active in contributing to the projects.

Applicants should submit a web form at

https://elomake.helsinki.fi/lomakkeet/47486/lomake.html

Applicants must upload a transcript (list of passed exams and courses) and optionally a one-page curriculum vitae with the application form. The deadline for applications is February 20th 2014.
