Professor Eero Hyvönen from Aalto University has been granted the State Award for Public Information in recognition of his work in developing Finnish semantic web. The FinnONTO ja Linked Data Finland projects lead by Hyvärinen have been active since 2003 also in the Department of Computer Science at University of Helsinki.
