1. Please fill in all fields in the application form properly.
2. Please specify two mentors in the Supervisor field.
3. Please notice that you have to attend the PhD studies seminar during the whole period of your PhD studies (i.e. four years).
4. Please read the PhD degree requirements and remember to include in your general PhD studies all the areas listed in the requirements (i.e., philosophy of science, research ethics, international activities, etc.).
5. In your research plan, you should give a general plan covering all the studies required for the PhD degree and, in addition to that, a more detailed plan for the first two years of your PhD studies.
6. Please ask your supervisor to check and sign also your research plan.
7. Please check that you also mention when you intend to graduate (month and year).
8. Funding: please ask your supervisor what to write if you are not sure.
9. Sign the application form. Ask your supervisor to sign the application form. Ask a professor at the department to sign the application form (if your supervisor is a professor, he or she can sign this part, otherwise a mentor who is professor or some other professor at the department.
10. Submit the application both by email (pdf) and on paper to the PhD committee of the department.

Note that the application will be approved by the PhD studies committee, not your supervisor (whose signature is also required).
