Oletko kiinnostunut tutkimustyöstä?

Tietojenkäsittelytieteen laitoksen tutkijalinja on tarkoitettu tietojenkäsittelytieteen opiskelijoille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneet laitoksella tehtävästä tutkimuksesta.

Linjalle valitaan vuosittain n. 5-10 opiskelijaa, jotka muodostavat oman  LuK-HOPS-opettajatuutorointiryhmänsä. Linjalle haetaan tavallisesti 1. tai 2. opiskeluvuoden keväällä.

Valinta perustuu aiempaan opintomenestykseen ja haastatteluun. Opinnoissaan hyvin menestynyt opiskelija voi pyrkiä linjalle myös myöhemmin kuin toisen opiskeluvuoden keväällä.

Tutkijalinjalaisille tarjotaan mm. tutkimusryhmäesittelyjä, pääsy linjalaisten omaan huoneeseen Exactumissa ja mahdollisuuksia tutustua tutkimukseen tekemällä vapaaehtoinen harjoitustyö jossakin tutkimusryhmässä.

Are you interested in research work?

The Undergraduate Research Track of the Department of Computer Science is intended for students who are interested in the research carried out at the department.

Each year, ca. 5-10 students are accepted on the track. They comprise a separate LuK-HOPS tutoring group. Students are typically accepted in the Spring of their first or second year of undergraduate (BSc) studies.

Admissions are based on study record and an interview. Students with a good record can also apply later than the second year.

Students on the Undergraduate Research Track are offered presentations of research groups, entrance to the track's own room in Exactum, and possibilities of doing a voluntary project in a research group, etc.
