What happens in the game?
The aliens are invading planet Earth and you have been tasked to defend what little is left. As you see the alien mother ship beam on to the surface, you start to get nervous. What is ahead is not just a huge battle but an epic clash of civilisations, to say the least. Do you have it in you, to save our planet from these enraged savage beings? Or will Earth become just another slave colony for the alien empire?
How do I play the game?
Alien Invasion is a match3 game bundled with some FPS-weaponry to keep the action flowing. When you start the game you are faced with a grid of enemies. Start destroying them by swapping adjacent enemies (by clicking) so that rows or columns of 3 or more of the same enemy type are present. Same enemy types don't like to coexist in symmetry and thus typically blow themselves up. (Don't ask why. We really don't know why.)
As the game progresses more enemies appear from the mothership, and at times the situation may seem too desperate. Thankfully the occasional weapons found in fallen alien ships can also be used to your advantage.
If you do successfully defend your planet and the aliens fly away because of low morale, don't think your done. Rumours say more waves are on the way.
