Geographical Secure Path Routing for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks Vivek Pathak We present geographical secure path routing, an infrastructure free geographic routing protocol that is resilient to disruptions from malicious or faulty nodes. Our protocol authenticates the geographical location of anonymous nodes to secure routing and to provide location authentication and privacy simultaneously. We study the overhead required for location authentication by comparing with greedy perimeter stateless routing as the baseline. The overhead of the protocol is also studied under attack scenarios. Our protocol also authenticates the routing paths taken by individual messages. This provides a basis for geographical security policies. .
