Internships

With the following internships, the employer expects that a MSc thesis will be produced. The announcements do no define the topic of the thesis directly, but that must be separately agreed with subprogramme leader (for Distributed systems and data communication: Lea Kutvonen). Please make an appointment to discuss the requirements of thesis work, scope and style before contacting the employer.

• NSN internships to be filled in preferrably from beginning of October or mid-October, 2009, for 6 months. Not all positions can be filled. Inquieries may be considered also later.
  • Upgrade control framework for network elements
  • Study of freeBSD IP stack for Linux multi-core environment
  • Study of Linux kernel test suites for automated test framework
  • Measurement of network element power consumption

• Heeros Systems Oy:llä on tarjolla pro gradu -töitä liittyen Ajax-teknologiaan, RIA-työkaluihin ja Web Services -teknologiaan.

  Lopputyö voi käsitellä esimerkiksi seuraavia aiheita:

  • suurten tietomäärien käsittely selaimessa RIA-työkaluilla
  • erilaisten liittymärajapintojen toteuttaminen selaimessa RIA-työkaluilla
  • tiedonsiirto Web Services-teknologialla
