Student applications 2009

There are usually very few funded positions offered in Hecse's calls.

In the call of 2009, Hecse is offering 7 funded PhD positions. In addition, adjunct positions (without funding) may be offered.

Important dates

Pre-applications

A pre-application is intended for applicants who do not yet have a supervisor who is a member of the Hecse board. Pre-applications are submitted electronically and should include the following parts

Pre-applicants do not have to include a study and research plan, but should clearly state their research interests in the letter of introduction.

At most two additional recommendation letters by other researchers may be submitted.

Based on the pre-applications, negotiations with some applicants will opened. These negotioations may lead to a research plan and a full application jointly set up by the applicant and a supervisor.

Applicants that already have a committed supervisor in the board, should not submit a pre-application.
