Hi,

I have the following problem with kernels 2.4.X:

I have a Dell Lattitude C600 Notebook with C/Dock II docking station.
In the media bay I installed an additional second hard disk.

When docked I would like to use the CD-ROM in the bay of the docking
station.
But when the CD-ROM is in the bay, I cannot use the ethernet card and
SCSI controller
of the docking station anymore, because as far as I can tell, the CD-ROM
on IDE channel 2
masks the IRQ for the the other two device.

So far I had no success playing with the interrupt allocation.

My system:

Dell Lattitude C 600,
C/Dock II docking station

Output ver_linux:

Thanks for any help.
