[PATCH] execdomain updates

Christoph Hellwig (hch@caldera.de)
Mon, 6 Aug 2001 15:40:34 +0200

Hi Alan,

the attached patch updates the the personality mechanism,
kernel/exec_domain.c and include/linux/personality.h in particular
to the version from linux-abi.

Follwoing changes are included:

o autoloading of personality modules through kmod
o new personalities (e.g. OSR, UW7, solaris) from linux-abi
o sysctl support for controlling abi-related settings
o additinal fields in struct exec_domain for networking purposes
o general code cleanup
o personality.h is no more directly included in sched.h, to
avoid namespace corruption.

Please consider applying.

Christoph

Of course it doesn't work. We've performed a software upgrade.
