That's a completely separate issue. You can fix it while keeping sane
semantics for min() and max().

#define min(x,y) ({ if strcmp(STRINGIFY(typeof(x)), STRINGIFY(typeof(y))) BUG(); realmin(x,y) })
/me wonders if gcc would manage to optimise that.
