kbuild 2.5.26 - arch/alpha

Is the kernel arch tree for alphas not maintained anymore? If I download
the vanilla 2.5.26 I can't build it at all. Even a make clean fails
due to missing directives in arch/alpha/kernel/Makefile.

Has anybody any idea?
