Hello all!
I have for the last couple kernels been unable to boot(2.5.24 runs
fine), no oops that I saw in 2.5.26 but then again not a funtional
system. On 2.5.27 I did get a oops. Symptoms are: system seems to boot
up to the time to login. no console login and only Ctr Scroll Lock
works. Daemons show up as active tasks running. About a minute latter
message appears on console

Init: Id "1" respawning to fast disabled for 5 minutes.
Init: Id "5" respawning to fast disabled for 5 minutes.
Init: Id "6" respawning to fast disabled for 5 minutes.
And then it oops.
