Note:

I -did- find the Oops in the logs.

The machine runs 2.4.18 again so I weeded out 'compare_maps' warnings

If one needs more info, I'll try to provide it.

In general, I use lastest stable software

(e.g gcc 3.1 modutils 2.4.18 etc ...)
