NOT correct, sorry. The latter function _would_ have been used in
sched.c if it had compiled. (Can't claim ENOTENOUGHCOFFEE at this time
of day; how about EINCIPIENTSENILITY?)

Yeah, but we've disabled sched.c's load-balancing support.
