#1 - After creating the alias the "down" command took the whole network card
down (AArrgghhh!). Seems to me it didn't do that before. You should be
able to delete an alias WITHOUT killing all other aliases (and the base
address too).
#2 - It still looks like a "route del" doesn't delete at all. It returns an
ESRCH error. In my correspondences with another user it doesn't seem to
matter if you have the advanced router options enabled or not.
I'm configure with 2.1.71 and net-tools 1.41.
