I guess, GGI isnīt ready for primetime yet, because the developers'
programming skills are at the moment used for new drivers instead of
a compatibility mode (which would allow running the old XFree Servers
and so allow inclusion into the kernel earlier)
I think GGI needs a lot more programmers than it has now. Or it needs
just another bit of time.
I for myself would have loved to see GGI in the 2.2 kernels, but
as the 2.1 feature freeze is already through, I guess itīs to late this
time.
