Unable to handle kernel paging request....

I am getting the following errors messages using the 2.0.30 kernel:

Dec 9 19:29:26 mandan kernel: Unable to handle kernel paging request at
virtual address e0202028
Dec 9 19:29:26 mandan kernel: current->tss.cr3 = 004fb000,
Dec 9 19:29:26 mandan kernel: *pde = 00000000

What is causing the errors? Bad hardware? Software?
The machine is our web server at the University I work for. If you need
anymore info just ask. Thanks.
