I am running kernel 2.0.34 on an Intel PC, with an Etherteam
16i ethernet card (using the eth16i.c driver).
Normally all the networking is fine. However, on a *reboot*
a message such as the following occurs:
eth16i: Delaying initialization...
Except the card never *does* get initialized ("resource busy"). As
a consequence, networking does not work when the system is up.
This problem does not occur if the system is halted, and the machine
is power cycled.
So it looks as if the driver isn't initializing the card "properly"
(and only a power-up does this)?
Any suggestions would be greatfully received.
Tris.
