Hello,

I download a chardevice module source codes sample , say , chardev.c.
Now I want to _ONLY_ compile chardev.c itself ,then run "insmod" and "rmmod" command to verify its function, instead of recompiling all the kernel sources ,which really takes very long and meanless time . How can I write a Makefile to implement this?
I have tried to compile it using the following command:

gcc -Wall -DMODULE -D_KERNEL_ -DLINUX -c chrdev.c

But it seems to have many many errors, some of which are even irrelevant to my codes.

Pls mail to me dony.he@huawei.com.cn directly.
TIA
dony
