NAT and netfilter (appology, thanks, and correction)

David Miller, thank you for the patch. I will be recompiling some time
tomorrow and testing (I am getting tired and am not sure I would do a decent
test job tonight).
NAT does work. But the problem with the missing /proc file still persists.
My problem was I didnt have an appropriate rule for the return forwarding (I
was droping the return data). My worry is since my box will now forward to
the private network, how do I keep people from doing source routing and
routing packets onto my machine... is this really a security risk? How can I
avoid it (my rules are as they were in the previous script)?
Thank you again David, I appreciate the help (and honestly the tremendous
