but "http://www.kernelnotes.org/change23.html" should be updated!

Kernel modutils 2.3.5 insmod -V
Gnu C 2.7.2.3 gcc --version
Binutils 2.8.1.0.23 ld -v
^^^^^^^^^^^^

maybe some more people will step into this trap......
