hda: timeout waiting for DMA in 2.2.14pre17

I'm not sure if this is a bad disk or if the DMA problem is still there.
Can someone tell me which kernel does NOT have the DMA problem and I'll
install that and make sure the problem goes away?

I'm seeing:

hda: timeout waiting for DMA
hda: irq timeout: status=0x6c { DriveReady DeviceFault DataRequest CorrectedError }
hda: DMA disabled
hdb: DMA disabled
ide0: reset: success

For what it is worth, I have a spare IDE controller board - if people thought
it was worthwhile, I could put that in and try that.

The machine is a company file server, on a 100Mbit net, 466Mhz celeron.
