It's not impossible - my concerns with it are:
* It's just version 0.01, and I haven't gotten much feedback really,
at least from people actually using the driver, because...
* most people who want the driver also need PPPoA or RFC1483-bridging,
neither of which are supported in the ATM stack yet
* It's easy to get discrete drivers into stable kernels anyway
Anyway, this discussion is better suited for the linux-atm list. There
will probably be at least one more ATM merge from Werner before 2.4, so if
people want to convince us, do it there :-)
