Gunzip Problems with linux-2.2.14.tar.gz?

Is there a problem with the latest kernel from ftp.kernel.org ??

I've attempted an ftp 3 times and each time the file size is correct

15918652 linux-2.2.14.tar.gz

but each time I try to gunzip it I get:

[root@eagle src]# gunzip linux-2.2.14.tar.gz

gunzip: linux-2.2.14.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--crc error

Any ideas??
