Umm.. Actually, I was at a satellite uplink station and saw a _pair_ of 
pdp-10's. I asked those aren't still being used and the answer was, yes, 
they are. They are doing some sort of encryption/decrytion/signal 
processing.
So you never know from what corner this old gear will pop up in.
