Well, at the moment I'm using my other network card with 2.3.46-pre2
and it's working:
Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.11
options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm]
Adding cardbus controller 0: PCI device 104c:ac15
PCI: Enabling device 00:04.0 (0000 -> 0002)
Yenta IRQ list 0e98, PCI irq0
Socket status: 30000010

The difference seems to be that this card is 16 bit, whereas the other
card is (it had better be!) 32 bit.
