2.4.0-test isn' booting with cyrix

Hello list,
I'm experiencing a couple of problems with 2.4-test kernel. In my eyes the
biggest problem is the kernel isn't booting with a 6x86L PR200+GP. The last
message of the kernel is: ok booting the kernel (or somethin like this).
Now it should print the version string but it don't. I selected CONFIG_586=y.
