Department's staff morning coffee will be served at 9.00-10.00 on Monday, 30 March in Unicafe Exactum. The Head of the Department will launch the event with some current news, after which our invited guest will step up: Valtteri Vainikka, Information Specialist, Kumpula Campus Library.

- New CS contact at the library, brief introduction. Who am I and what my background is.
- Recent acquisition proposal shortage. We can order more than we currently do!
- Book acquisition procedure changes. What´s different now? There´s a new form on the library website. Staff/students can order material directly from there or by contacting me.
- Upcoming changes to the collection classification system. It´s being updated to a newer version. Going to be less confusing to browse.
- Publication Forum Project & TUHAT. Brief recap of the situation (starts to affect university funding this year & what the most common issues are concerning CS in particular i.e. conference papers)
- Gather feedback in general: how could we improve things?

Some additional topics if there´s time:
- Brief recap on planned changes to the bachelors-degree level student course on CS information seeking (ACM, IEEE, Google Scholar and others). This hasn´t been locked down yet, but I´d like to gather some feedback on what CS staff would like to see in the new teaching material.
- Planned improvements on making CS e-books easier to browse (via FeedNavigator) and the upcoming CS staff/student library contact page (via LibGuide).
