JAANA SIMOLA



My research interest is in human visual attention and eye movements.

Currently, I work at Institute of Behavioural Sciences - Cognitive Science Unit at University of Helsinki and at Aalto University School of Economics in COBI research project.

Previously, I have worked at The Humanities Lab at Lund University, and at Low Temperature Laboratory, Helsinki University of Technology.

Part of the organizing committee of The Scandinavian Workshop on Applied Eye-Tracking, SWAET2007, February 8-9, 2007, Lund.

Part of the organizing committee of a challenge within the framework of PASCAL, the EU Network of Excellence. The challenge was based on the PRIMA research project, and it took place during 1 March - 30 September 2005. The objective was to predict from eye movement data whether a reader finds a text relevant.
