General Info
Course description (in Finnish).
Exercise groups: Jan 23-Feb 24; Mar 13-Apr 13.
Exercise groups are regular groups for doing exercises. Each
week, the exercises are processed similarily to other exercise
groups in the department.
Activity in exercise groups gives up to 10 points in the total
points of the course.
The exercise group times are as follows:
Group 1. Mon 16-18 CK111, Pietu Pohjalainen
Group 2. Canceled !
Mid-term project
The mid-term project consists of individually implemented
scanner and parser in lex and yacc for a given
language. Instructions for the mid-term project will be given in
the fifth exercise session. This project counts for 10 points in
the grading.
End-term project
The end-term project is a larger work that includes implementing
a JVM-bytecode generating compiler backend. This work can be
done either individually, or in groups of 2-3 persons. This project
gives up to 20 points in the grading.
Exam, Wednesday May 3, 9-13.
The exam accounts for 20 points in the total points of the course.
