581361 Software testing - Autumn 2007
1. Introduction
Software testing is an optional laudatur course for students spesializing in software engineering. The prerequisite courses of the course are Software engineering and Software engineering project.
2. Bulletin board

- The course exam will be on Oct. 18, 2007, at 9am, room A111. The exam includes exercises 1-5 and course book chapters 1-4, 5.3, 9-12, 14-15, 17, 20, and 21.
- I apologise for the late arrival of the exercises 1 and 2. The next exercises will be available earlier. - JT
- Note for our foreign students: This course is lectured in Finnish. In order to pass the course, you pretty much need the course book. I will translate the exercises of the course in English so you have a chance to follow the course and solve the exercises. You may participate any of the exercise groups but be prepared that the groups might be held in Finnish. For further information, please contact the assistant teacher of the course, Mr. Pietu Pohjalainen ( Pietu.Pohjalainen@removethis.cs.helsinki.fi).

5. Exercise groups and exercises

- Exercises are not mandatory but they are useful.
- You may get 0 - 6 points to the final grading from exercises. All solved problems are counted in the grading.
6. Grading
- Both the exam and the exercises will affect the final grade.
- The grading will go according to the following rules:
- Exam: 0 - 54 points total.
- Exercises: 0 - 6 points total.
- Total: 0 - 60 points.
- About 30 points = 1/5
- About 50 points = 5/5

Ohter relevant material may be used in the course. The material in a final exam will be the same than the material for the previous course.
