58160 Programming project (4 cr, 2 sw)
Tomi Pasanen is the manager of the project work.
The programming project is a compulsory course in the basic module of computer science (according to the old system, a compulsory course in the Cum Laude Approbatur module), but it is an elective course for minoring students. The courses Programming in Java and Software Modelling are prerequisites for this course (you can substitute Methods for software engineering for Software Modelling).
The project teams are formed at the initial lecture and their schedules are available in the teaching programme. Those who have registered for the course and are present at the initial lecture will be included in a team. Those who have registered for a team have priority. Students who are present at the lecture will be included from the waiting list in the order in which they have registered. This means that students have to participate in the initial lecture.
The project must be finished during the schedule set for the team, or it will be considered interrupted. Students may attempt a new project only through the list of interrupters, from which it may be difficult to join a team, since new students have priority.
