Naoshi Horiai Sun, 23 Jan 2000 23:59:59 +0900 ------------- My name is Naoshi HORIAI, 47 year of age, married, Japanese. I am living in Hamamatsu, which is about half way from Tokyo to Osaka. My profession is material engineer, working for a company in Hamamatsu. I played guitar over 20 years before starting to learn lute 1998, and some experience teaching guitar in my home town Tokyo. Unfortunately lute is not so popular in Japan compared to in Europe and US, therefore a lute teacher is not easy, especially in my town, so I am traveling to Tokyo to get lesson. Right now I am playing 8-course renaissance lute, which by French lute maker, but want to play baroque lute in the future also. In this net lute music by Telemann is not often talked. I do not know much about him especially his lute music, but on of my favorite one by him recorded on CD is lute duets N. Yepes and Monden. I am wondering whether this original piece is available and any other wonderful lute music by him exist. I am always enjoying various things discussed on this net. Naoshi
