My name is Kris I'm 26 years old and I live in Brisbane Australia. I
work as a sales assistant and sheet music manager in a guitar shop. 
Since the age of 16 I have played electric guitar and have been in 
various hard rock bands.  Up until a few years ago I hadn't even heard 
of this word "lute" until I stumbled upon an internet page with tablature
and a few instructions on technique.  I didn't even own a classical 
guitar so I had to capo up my strat. The music had an amazing effect on 
me and from that point on I have been addicted. Thanks to a very a 
generous luthier who has given me lutes on credit I now own an 11 course,
an 8 course(which has just lost its bridge "bit of a bugger") and have
just ordered a theorbo.
