Work with Finnish! A beginners' course in Finnish for international staff at Viikki on Thursdays 12.09.2013 - 05.12.2013

In this course we learn to speak, read, write and understand basic Finnish. We learn useful common words and phrases, and words related to the university community. Special attention will be paid to university personnel practices. We will practise pronunciation and study grammar too.
The teaching language is Finnish. Course book: Gehring-Heinzmann, Suomen mestari 1.

NB! You are expected to be present for at least 80% of the course time. In order to receive credit for the course 80% attendance is required and you are expected to complete 80% of the course assignments. It is possible to obtain 2 academic credits (2 ECTS/2 op) for this course. If you need the credits for your studies, inform the teacher of this and give him your personal student number or your identification number so that the completed credits can be registered.
